Synapse employs a Senior Youth Worker, Paul Sherwin, and two part time Youth Workers, Jane Watson & Cate Hall. They are helped by a number of volunteers who are called on whenever they are needed, some working with us regularly and others on an occasional basis. All our Youth Workers and volunteers have experience working with young people and we carry out checks through the DBS to ensure that they are suitable for the work and have enhanced DBS certificates. All are familiar with safeguarding issues and those who work regularly with young people have Safeguarding Training which is updated when required.
